We are approximately 135 kms from Perth or approximately 115-minute drive.
We are ideally located being the gateway to the Western Australian Wheatbelt region, an ideal location to explore our region from here.

We offer our standard rates for two or more night’s accommodation; however, you can book and stay for just one night.

One-night bookings will incur an additional cost of a cleaning fee for $30. Why not consider booking an extra night for the discounted rate.

We have available upon request, a standard continental breakfast for an additional cost. We do not provide meals, barbeques are available under the gazebo, inside the cabins you will find a plug-in electric cooktop and microwave to prepare your own meals.

Yes, children are most welcome, but we do have some rules.

We have fold out beds available for 2 or our cabins. Our York Gum cabin will sleep 2 adults and one child.

Our Salmon Gum cabin will sleep 2 adults and 2 children.

Please note that adding additional fold out beds in the cabins will make the interior quite cosy, providing less room to move about inside.  There is plenty room outside around the cabins and on the farm to explore.

Here are the rules:  Children MUST be supervised at all times and please ensure they stay around your designated cabin so they do not disturb other guests in other cabins and most importantly they are not to be left unattended. We are an operating farm so please understand we cannot have children running around without close supervision.  Please ask Lisa where children are allowed during your visit and these rules must be adhered to, or we may have to terminate your stay early.  Please respect your cabin and surrounding garden area, especially any newly planted gardens.

Yes we do, however, we do not offer housekeeping during your stay.

We have excellent coverage via the Telstra mobile network. We do not have WIFI available.

We are centrally located to many towns:

Northam 35kms

York 40 kms

Cunderdin 28kms

Dowerin 62 kms

Goomalling  48kms

Quairading 70kms

Our cabins are too small to cater for larger families, our largest cabin, Salmon Gum can accommodate 2 Adults and 2 Children.  If your family consists of younger children, toddlers or babies, we may be able to fit you in, however you will need to discuss your booking with Lisa.  Please note that if we do accept more than 4 guests in one cabin it will become quite cosy inside roomwise.  Alternatively, if you are travelling with a third Adult, you may want to consider booking a second cabin.

Farming is seasonal, so depending on what time of year you visit, you may get to see the crops being sown during late April through until mid June.

November and December you may see the crops being harvested. We run sheep, so there may be times where we are rounding up the sheep to bring them up to the shearing shed for shearing.

Our cattle may also be in the nearby paddock, they are great to watch and observe as they graze, with some cows with calves. Many other farming activities are done during the year, so there is usually something to see.

We recommend you bring some warm clothes with you during the winter months, as it can get a little colder than Perth. Especially when you are outdoors.

Make sure you bring sun protection during the warmer months too, especially a hat.

No, we do not allow pets to visit.

Yes, you can, but only within the unrestricted burning period, which is typically April to September, but please check with us first to ensure proper regulations are followed.

We have a designated fire pit area with wood supplied for an additional cost (you may choose to bring your own firewood), bring some marshmallows and toast them on the fire while you watch the sun go down.

We only accept credit card payments.  Your booking must be paid at time of completing your reservation.

Full payment for your stay is required prior to arrival.

*Please note that if there any significant damage occurs during your stay, you will be liable for the cost of repairs or replacements.

Yes, all of our cabins have reverse cycle air conditioning, so both heating and cooling.
